- Acknowledge & feel your feelings
Physically
- Sleep well
- Eat nutritious food
- Breathe slowly
- Move & connect with your body often
- Drink water
- Listen to your body
- Take the supplements you might need
- Laugh
Spiritually
- Take time to connect with nature
- Pray, meditate or practice a moment of mindfulness
- Be generous with another, considering it a random act of kindness
- Have faith in something (like humanity, the sun always rising, God, the energy of love)
Mentally
- Do something that brings you pleasure, like watering your plants
- Read things that inspire you
- Practice positive self-affirmations
- Reframe a situation (for example, instead of spiralling into catastrophic thinking)
